What Milling & Repaving Means

Milling grinds off the top layer of worn or damaged asphalt, leaving a clean, even surface for a fresh layer of hot-mix asphalt. It's the right call when the base underneath is still structurally sound but the surface has aged, rutted, or cracked beyond a simple patch.

We inspect the existing surface and base before recommending milling and repaving over a full rebuild — if the base has failed, we'll tell you that instead of paving over a problem that will just come back. This is bigger equipment and a bigger job than most of our driveway work, so we schedule it deliberately rather than squeezing it in.
